End Of Year Examination (First Aid)

Date: 23rd December 2010
Duration: 2 hours

There will be 3 sections:

Section A: Multiple Choice Questions (30 marks)
Section B: Structured-Based Questions (40 marks)
Section C: Structured-Essay Questions (30 marks):

1 Compulsory question (15 marks)
2 optional questions (Choose 1) (15 marks)

Total marks: 100

Passing Marks: 50

First Aid Classes:

Class A: Top 20% of Secondary 2s and Secondary 3s (2011). They will be doing in-depth case studies that will be taught by officers and instructors
Class B: Next 40% of Secondary 2s and Secondary 3s (2011). They will attending theory lessons and some simple practicals that will be taught by NCOs (Secondary 4s of 2011)
Class C: Last 40% of Secondary 2s and Secondary 3s (2011). They will attend theory lessons to strengthen their first aid foundations

Note: Cadets in a particular class will not be definite as transfer of cadets to another classes may take place if his/her first aid skills drop or improve.
